Varicose veins are enlarged veins that can be blue, red, or flesh-colored. They often look like cords and appear twisted and bulging. Varicose veins usually appear in the legs and can cause pain, swelling, or an itchy rash.
Varicose veins are abnormally swollen and tortuous veins, often visible just beneath the skin. They can vary in size from quite small (2-3mm across) to very large (2-3cms across).
Varicose veins are abnormal, dilated blood vessels caused by a weakening in the vessel wall. Varicose and spider veins can appear anywhere, but most often appear on the legs.
